My house is nearly 100 years old. I have lived in it for almost 20 years and have had quite alot of work done to it. I have been happy with all the work done, but I have to say that the work undertaken to replace the  poly carb roof on my conservatory is the very best. When we first met Ben who came to survey the roof, he knew exactly what needed to be done. He was confident and answered all the questions we asked. The quote came back to us in two days. We obviously accepted the quote and Ben told us due to a cancellation he could start work in four weeks. Unknown to us, a neighbour had also asked for a quote and Ben was working on thier roof the week before ours. Ben kept us fully informed of details of the work schedule. Ben and Andy arrived on the day exactly on time, 9am which was great. No rushing about in the morning. That day they did not stop. The old polycarbonate roof was taken away and the new roof installed. The overall time from start to completion was 4.5 days. The plasterer, Martin has done the best plastering job I have ever seen. Ben and Andy had complete respect for my home and were exceptionally efficient. They cleaned up every day and they laid a plastic membrane to protect the LVT on the floor of the conservatory. Nothing was to much trouble. The conservatory was cleaned to perfection when the work was completed, they even cleaned the plug sockets, plugs and wood burner when they finished. It was cleaned as though no work had been undertaken with all rubbish removed. To say I am delighted is an understatement. The conservatory looks so modern especially with the downlighters Ben installed. They really paid attention to detail. My conservatory is so much warmer now and we don't hear the deafening sound of rain on the roof. It's a real 10/10 from me. What also sealed the deal for me was, Andy does the survey, the quote and the work. Other companies send a representative to do the quote and you never see them again. It has taken me a while to write this review for which I apologise guys. The stress caused by our original orangery company ghosting us half way through a build has taken a while to abate and for us to enjoy the space we now have. How did we get here? Only due to TCRG’s stepping in and taking on a half completed half abandoned build from another company, a build that should have taken 6 weeks and a year later was still part built. TCRG’s were recommended through the company who had manufactured the roof for our build which had sat in our garage for 4 months. Ben was in contact within 24 hours and managed to fit us in within 4 weeks, taking on the installation of a 6mx 3m glazed and lanterned orangery. The weather was not on their side but we were always met with a smile and a willingness to work long hours to get the job done. Out of choice we finished certain trimming and installation of gutters etc, There were a couple of initial teething issues but Ben always responded quickly and resolved the issues just as quickly. We initially had a replacement conservatory roof booked in with a local firm who went insolvent just before they were due to install our new solid roof. Fortunately, just at the right time we discovered The Conservatory Roof Guys. Ben with his team Nigel and Andy came to the rescue, and within days we had a survey booked in and a date in the diary for the install within a matter of weeks. The whole install took around 4-5 days in total, with the old roof being removed and basic structure of the new roof fitted within a day. The materials and design of the Icotherm roof are far superior to other products on the market, which seemed inferior and extortionately priced for what they are. Our new Icotherm roof went in perfectly on day one, and the team installed a really decent amount of insulation, with a perfectly matching tile to our existing roof. They also went to the effort of adding all the finishing touches to our new roof, including dimmable down lights in the external soffits and internal ceiling structure, and a smooth plastered painted finish to the the ceiling. The team we felt went above and beyond and were incredibly courteous and tidy throughout the install and kept us up to date thoughout the pre-install process. I would not hesitate to recommend them. What we have now is a perfect room which now makes our living space usable all year around. Currently it is February and there has been a thick frost most mornings. It is a relief that we can keep our internal doors open to the main house, and not worry about heat loss throughout the middle of winter. Ben, Nigel and Andy have recently completed our conservatory roof replacement and we couldn't be happier. From the initial contact with Nigel and the first meeting with Ben they made us feel at ease. Ben took the time to explain everything to us in full detail and had great knowledge and passion for his work. He even went the extra mile and took us on a visit to a previous customer which confirmed the standard of their workmanship. On the job, the team were hard-working and polite and made sure that we were kept updated with daily progress with photos and phone calls. The finished project has now transformed our living space and has given us a warm home all year round. Nigel from conservatory roofs managed to give me a unique solution to convert my conservatory.  Professional from the start, the room was too hot in the summer and freezing in the winter.  They converted it to a useable room, they did all the work themselves, worked to budget and finished on time.
